Birth control
Birth control
(Uncontrolled) growth of world population is one of the main engines fueling global warming because all world citizens have the right to live a live we live in the West. (but inderstand - our current “normal” is not “normal” at all….)
Stabilizing and then reducing world population will have the biggest impact on reducing CO2 levels on the long run:
Target is to stabilize the world population from a global 2.5 births per woman to less than 2 births per woman. Strive to a maximum of 9 billion world inhabitants in 2050 further reducing the world population to 7 billion by 2100 and 5 billion in 2150;
Ultimately a world population of 2.5 billion should be the target;
A large scale sustained world birth control program has to be initiated and implemented in areas especially prone to exponential population growth through the education of woman and the amelioration of local living conditions. The birth control program should be an integral part of the education of young girls and boys worldwide;
Birth control programs go hand in hand with the creation and stimulation of local small scale economies & a significant upgrade in living conditions;
The use of preservatives to prevent the spreading of sexual transmitted diseases is to be actively promoted worldwide;
Resources needed: 50.000 people worldwide in an “international birth control division” of which 30.000 “on the ground” meaning interacting with local populations;
