What's this about ?

What's this about ?

This is a pamphlet with profound society changing ideas and guiding principles on the following subjects : energy, water, food production & consumption, transport, birth control, education, fostership, migration, funding of transition, ocean pollution, forests, an international government, drawing new borders..…

It is a living document and will in no doubt be dismissed as a total fantasy by the current economic powers, lobbyists, politicians, environmentalists, stakeholder groups. The intellectual establishment at large undoubtedly will crack down the proposals put forward because they don’t fit the current “political correct thinking”.

So let’s be clear : the objective of this pamphlet is not to be “nice” or “mainstream”, nor is it’s objective ”to please” one or another stakeholder/group. If everyone disagrees, because it overthrows the current way of thinking, consumption and established attitudes, the pamphlet is right on target. You should feel annoyed by it, it’s supposed to be…I am too.

Ideas and far reaching proposals were grouped in bullet point lists for a a set of the above topics and come with the following caveats:

  • Some of these ideas have been thought of before, published somewhere, or are already being developed by start-ups, small and large initiatives;

  • Numbers are approximations, give a direction, order of magnitude;

  • Could it be better structured and reordered? Yes.

  • Can it be improved? Definitely!

  • Can sections be better split or added or grouped differently? Sure.

The pamphlet is written with the end goal in mind, it focuses on “what needs to be done urgently” in order to prevent worse, not to saveguard one or another privilege or to adulate this and the other political correct idea.

The numbers mentioned were written from a Western Europe’s situation and need to be adapted given each specific regional environmental economic population constellation situated in a specific climate range. (The policy to address climate change in Northern Europe is definitely different for the policy to be developed close to the equator.)

So why write under a pseudonym? Because the author wishes to have some privacy too, like you.

Now that that is said….

Should you wish to contribute, give feedback and input, suggestions on existing and new topics are welcome. In this way the document will become more and more mature “carried” by many others that feel concerned and frustrated that so little up to now has been done. (For which the Youth for Climate movement criticizes us, adults)
