Involve pensioners

The footprinting of the rich developed nations took a flight from the 1960s’ onwards.  This implies that the population with an age above 50 in these countries cannot deny they (for a long time very unknowingly) contributed a lot to the current state of affairs. Therefore it is but fair that this generation is called upon to amend as much as possible.

  • Pensioners will continue to receive their pension but will spent 1 day a week supporting all sorts of local developed initiatives (expenses reimbursed):

    • Maintaining the ”footprint forest” to be created in each community;

    • Assist with education;

    • Assist with maintaining flower beds;

    • Assist with site visits to local waste factories, abattoirs;

    • Assist schools – local governments with the implementation of all initiatives such as the school garden including care for animals.

  • The measure will increase social cohesion in that pensioners are brought in contact with the youth of today giving more “sense and meaning” to their lives.

  • The policy of “removing” pensioners from society by putting them away in old age homes is to be actively reversed in policies that keep them integrated in society.

                                                                    Basic income
